1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ContentSignal ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using the Service.

2. Meta Platform & Developer Policy Compliance

ContentSignal operates in strict adherence to Meta Platform Terms, Developer Policies, and Community Standards:

  • You must have valid administrative authorization or ownership of the Facebook Pages you connect.
  • You agree not to use the Service for abusive posting, rate-limit circumvention, or spamming behaviors prohibited by Meta.
  • You acknowledge that Facebook Page Access Tokens are granted strictly to authorize posting on your behalf and may be revoked by you at any time via Facebook Business Manager.

3. User Content & Intellectual Property

You retain 100% full ownership, rights, and title to all photos, videos, descriptions, and captions you upload to ContentSignal. By uploading content, you grant ContentSignal a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license solely for the technical purpose of transferring, transcoding, and publishing the content to your designated Facebook Pages via the Meta Graph API.

4. 7-Day Ephemeral Storage & Content Expiration

ContentSignal is designed as a queue-and-publish pipeline, not an archival storage service. All uploaded media stored in Cloudflare R2 is subject to a strict 7-day automatic deletion policy. ContentSignal shall not be liable for the loss or deletion of files from our temporary storage buckets once published or expired after 7 days. Users are responsible for keeping local backups of all original media files.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". While we strive for 99.9% uptime, ContentSignal makes no warranties regarding uninterrupted availability, Facebook Graph API rate limit changes, or Facebook platform outages. Under no circumstances shall ContentSignal be liable for direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the Service.

6. Account Termination & Data Deletion

You may disconnect your Facebook account or request immediate permanent data deletion at any time via Facebook App Settings or our automated Data Deletion Callback URL. Upon receipt, all stored tokens, Page associations, queued items, and logs will be irreversibly purged.
